Unlike the round shank MTR, the MBPR features a rear-end tilt design, making it compatible with precision locking tool holders. Additionally, its advanced nanometer coating on ultrafine carbide enhances both the smoothness of the machined surface and the tool's wear resistance.

The slotted design on the inclined section at the tail, along with a center water outlet in the cutter sleeve, enables effective internal cooling during processing.
Solid carbide boring bars are precisely positioned in the adaptor using a locating pin, while set screw clamps ensure increased stability for rigid clamping.
Tool changes can be made using the same type through the positioning pin, maintaining the same total extension length.
